What is new at White Cloud Coffee?? A lot is new and a lot is staying exactly the same!

We wanted to share some very exciting news with all of our White Cloud Coffee customers! Jerome and Lori Eberharter have decided to hand over the reins of White Cloud Coffee to Heather Dawson and Cindy Tulpa. Heather & Cindy became the new owners of White Cloud Coffee last week.

We want to assure everyone that we will continue to carry on the fine traditions established by White Cloud Coffee over the past 25 years. We have NO intention of changing any of the roast profiles, coffee blends, or flavors and will continue to produce the coffees that have become part of your traditions.

We have had the pleasure of meeting some of you over the past week and look forward to meeting you all in the near future! We would love to hear from you with any comments or suggestions you might have for the future of White Cloud Coffee.

What changes will we make? Very few actually...we intend to update the website and perhaps update the labels….but rest assured the coffee will remain as amazing as it has always been.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to Jerome and Lori Eberharter, for giving us the opportunity to carry on the legacy of White Cloud Coffee. We also thank Jerome and Lori for taking the time to pass on your knowledge about coffee and about our customers. It has been a wonderful learning experience!

We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions you may have. We promise to maintain a family atmosphere where, you, our customers are at the heart of all we do! We look so forward to getting to know all of you and providing a “Coffee For Every Journey”.

A few words from White Cloud Coffee Founder, Jerome Eberharter....

White Cloud Coffee has been at the heart of my life for over 25 years, we grew up together. Our brand has always meant superb coffee for our customers, no matter where they are on their journeys, whether on a river trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon or on the back porch contemplating a Saturday's set of chores.

We started it all in a garage. It's been a great journey and now it's time to for Lori and I to chart a different path. I have accepted an offer to purchase White Cloud Coffee from a terrific duo, Heather Dawson and Cindy Tulpa. Their business, Black Dog Coffee Traders, is one of our larger clients.

Over the years we have never stopped evolving (sometimes with courage and sometimes with apprehension), and with Heather and Cindy it will continue to grow and evolve. We have shipped coffee to the Himalayas for a 3-month expedition to K2. Our coffee has run through the cash registers of Costco, Albertsons, Smiths in SLC, Ralph's in LA and cruise ships from Miami to Europe.

The Boise Co-op was our first grocery outlet. I will forever be grateful to Ken Kavenaugh for taking a chance on me, as I made deliveries on Fridays in a 1974 VW square back with coffee from a roaster I could barely control. Sometimes a medium roast was really, ah, a French Roast... But we did get better, a lot better.

Throughout the years we have had many hundreds of employees, vendors and suppliers who have helped with White Cloud Coffee’s evolution, thank you! Please extend your kindness to Heather and Cindy like you have always done for me.

Cindy and Heather have plans to take our mission of “Coffee for Every Journey” to an even larger audience. My wife Lori and I so appreciate their vision and the joy they bring in sharing wonderful coffee with our customers. They plan to make things even better for you while keeping the high quality standards you expect.

Our customers, you are the amazing ones! You have stuck with us for years, for better and for worse, in sickness and in health. From our wholesale customers in Pocatello, McCall and Sun Valley, ID toWinthrop, Washington and Manhattan, NYC to our many hundreds of online customers who order from us year-around, we would not exist without you.

You, our customers, impact the lives of so many people! You put food on the table for many dozens of households, and have provided coffee donations to hundreds of fundraisers over the years including our troops in Iraq.

Thank you, and thank you to all the new customers yet to come who will see in White Cloud Coffee what you see.

Warmly, Jerome
